Se7en : Main Titles (Prologue’s Kyle Cooper//Imaginary Forces)
Created entirely in-camera, combining hand-carved titles projected over footage using a handcranked camera (no keyframes, compositing or overlays) & heavily relying on jump cuts w/ attitude, this treatment single-handedly ignited (or revived) a lost art form : “the movie before the movie”, the film title.
Kyle Cooper helped launch motion graphics as an art form in storytelling with this dark//grungy treatment.
